  • Operational Research Capacity Building Workshop

    Dear Sigma Nurses,

    The Alpha Beta Upsilon At-Large Chapter (618) will be coming up with a research capacity building workshop on the 27th to 30th August 2025. This will be followed by an implementation of operational research in selected  facilities across Sierra Leone.

    Welcome Alpha Beta Upsilon at-Large to the Nurses Climate Challenge!
    Your chapter joining officially makes this project an international initiative! I copied in our advocacy team and Cara from ANHE, so they are aware.
    There is an attached document to welcome your chapter and provide a listing of resources and ideas to help.  This includes a recording to a webinar with some great ideas for chapters. Also attached is a badge (a few versions) which you are welcome to use on your Chapter website/marketing.  
    Although some of the content on the attached resource document is specific to the U.S., we are looking forward to seeing how we can partner with you to help with efforts more specific to Sierra Leone.
    If you haven't yet, please also join the Climate and Health community on the Sigma Circle.
